Rural Virginia may be many things, but intellectualism is not one of them, at least not in the eyes of the general public. But Dennis Haggerty, who was able to break out of the stereotype early on, was a product of this. When it came time for Haggerty to start making a name for himself, he didn't hold back. He graduated from Virginia Tech, being the first member of his family to do so, unlike the Smokey Mountain legend. Haggerty, on the other hand, was not supposed to spend his days trudging through the streets of the former colony.
A visionary, Dennis Haggerty predicted that telehealth would be the next huge business. Even though Haggerty had no idea that his invention would be in high demand a few years later with COVID and the need for distance, he was in his element at the time. As the response to COVID became widespread and continued to expand, the company's success increased exponentially.
